Two and a half months later? I'll make the excuse that I lost my password. Everyone will buy that..... What can I say? I have been extremely busy and frankly couldn't come up with anything worth saying. Now the time has passed like gas escaping from Lyle's nether regions and I guess I have a few things to talk about. First off, the new project has it's first show. Project Killer B's - Monte's July 31st. Be there to see it, I'm sure it will be memorable. It's might even be worth your time. Take pictures, bring your video cameras and plenty of money for shots of Jag for me because I'm sure I'll need it. By that time, it will have been one full year since the last time I sang for a full night. Just remember, while you may hear some Bones Gang music or covers we used to do, you're also going to hear plenty of different stuff. Brook & I have decided to have some fun with some re-makes of some songs you would not expect. You may remember that our Britney Spears cover came in while Brook was with us. Go with it, let your mind wander and we're probably already there.... I have a link to our MySpace page on the links page, but most people are lazy including myself - Project Killer B's A follow up to my last post from a couple of months ago - I have sold everything except the conversion van. It's still up for sale, even though we are seriously considering keeping it. If you have $12,500, I have a van I'd like to sell you, for now.... Thanks to Craigslist for the help on selling that stuff, for the exception of the minivan. That got traded in on a deal I just couldn't say no to. I've heard back from a couple of the guys I sold my bass equipment to and they seem very satisfied with their purchases. Good. There's no money back guarantee here. ;-) I went out last night ( June 19th ) to Neisen's to catch Aultimate Ozzy & Series 5. I'm sure at this point you're probably thinking I went down there to cause mayhem and destruction on my former employer. Nah. I went down to catch up with Lyle & StuperDave & the Series 5 guys. One of their guitar players happens to be an old friend and band mate. Killed two birds with one stone. Fabulous evening. Kind of a stupid setup with Series 5 up front and Aultimate Ozzy in the back. Series 5 was very entertaining, so if you have not seen them I recommend it. Aultimate Ozzy was just as good and Lyle is really tearing it up on guitar nowadays. He has become the player I knew he had in him all along. He just needs to stay away from loose shorts and bees. It's an inside joke, but I think someone might need to change lotions. I may not have much love lost for Mr. Aultimate Ozzy, but I still can say there is nobody out there that does Ozzy better. It was good to see all my old friends and catch up a bit. Series 5 had me up on-stage and for that I sincerely apologize. :-) I did my best at the time. Thanks for letting me embarrass myself. I'll buck up my Weezer and Kiss for next time.
