...is still not black enough for Peter X! Happy Thanksgiving to all. I know it's been a while since I posted anything out here, but I think everyone knows the drill. We're all pretty busy and since there has been nothing going on with the band, I have not had a whole lot to write about. Not to mention, I've had my head buried in homework for the past couple of months. I thought I knew math until I took Algebra II this quarter. AAAHHH! 25 years of no math and then jump in to advanced math. I'm getting my ass kicked. I hope the economic downturn hasn't seen many of you lose your jobs. I have seen WAY too many people at Blue Cross get the axe this year. I feel lucky to still have a job. There's something to be thankful for right there! On to business, maybe you have noticed there are some new ads on the site. Maybe you have not. Maybe you don't care and just want me to quit saying "maybe". Maybe I'll stop. Just in time for Black Friday, we have added T-Shirt Hell to our list of affiliates. If you ever wondered where Peter X got some of his trademarked shirts, T-Shirt Hell is the place! Buy an obscene t-shirt and wear it in honor of Peter. He'll be proud! Actually he won't give a shit, but it makes for feel good advertising. I think I mentioned in my last posting a few months back that we've actually sold a few copies of our CD. Thanks again to all who purchased! It was a welcome surprise to see it sell! Miracles do happen! If you are wondering what is up on the band front, Bones Gang is still dead. I'll keep that as a running joke. Lyle is still kicking ass with that nameless fellow that we all used to work with and Peter has been kind enough to do some fill-in work for them. Sounds like that gig has some good things in the works and I hope it all works out for Lyle's benefit. I may not like who he's still working with, but God knows I wish him all the good luck in the world. Peter seems to be enjoying his semi-retirement. Brook and I have been in the studio as of late and have tracked another demo and I should have it out for public consumption in the next couple of weeks. We have some ideas for live shows, but that is kind of on hold right now. Anyone know any good drummers? I also have some news about myself that includes hitting the stage again.
