..and other news...

I know everyone was anxiously awaiting my first post of the year....
..and then I woke up.
Had anyone wondered what the hell was up? Was I the only one?
I suppose so. I have not had anything really going on out here for some time.
WELL, that's about to change.

First things first, did anyone think for one friggin' moment that I would forget about our beloved Peter X's birthday?
Yes, we do celebrate the hatching of our favorite dark entity.
Every so often, either myself or Lyle have awakened him from his thousand year slumber to feast on his drum kit.
I'm going to have to stop by and pull him out of his casket to feast on some "bootsies".
GET THAT PETE?!?! I'm going to stop by and I EXPECT alcohol to be poured down my throat. K?
Not that it has ever been a problem....
For those looking to send Peter birthday wishes, the guest book is still up and running. Show him some love.

So here is the other news. I have joined up with a band. That one band morphed into two. How is this, you ask? I originally joined up with Toybox to be a male vocal and second fiddle and a little keyboards. Yeah, me not on bass anymore. I know many of you never knew that I knew some keyboards too. Of course, many people didn't think I knew how to sing either. WOAH! badda-bing... To get back to it, two of the guy that play in Toybox with me also play in Lasher. They have just parted ways with their lead singer and asked if I would take the position. So now I'm in two bands with the same guys.
Wow, does this sound familiar?

Funny thing about all this is that Gary the guitar player was at one time going to audition for Bones Gang before we picked up Andy Anderson.
WHAT A FRIGGIN' MISTAKE!!!
'Nuff said on that.
Now Gary has to put up with me in TWO bands.

Lasher is going to be closer to what we were doing in Bones Gang and as it appears at this point in time, will be doing a Bones Gang original.
I'm not going to let the cat out of the bag. You'll just have to show up and find out.

Toybox is more of a variety band and has a kick-ass female vocalist as well as my incredibly adequate vox.
If you like to dance, you'll like Toybox.
I hope everyone will come out and support both bands. I'll have the dates for both bands available here on the BG MegaSite.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year, and I'm looking for forward to a fun 2010!
